Last week I spent a gorgeous afternoon in the city photographing Michele & Chick. We met up in their neighborhood to grab a photo by the Flat Iron Building...and then headed up town to Central Park. I had no idea that the duck pond at the south end of the park had been beautifully restored and ducks were happily floating in the wild grasses. Shooting portraits is a great way to get out of your head, cuddle up with someone you love and just enjoy the day. Chick had been having a tough work day when I met with him, but by the end of our few hours together, I think Michele had sufficiently distracted him from his troubles. The smiles on their faces tell the truth. Their in love, have great fun together and love their city. We'll be seeing each other again in November for their wedding at The Pratt Mansion
...looking forward to it guys! Thanks for a fun afternoon getting to know you both.
Here's a few of my favorite shots...just love the gestures & the later afternoon light.
